2020 dates 6/27 – 7/2. Guitarists of various levels, ages 21 and over* will be immersed in 6 days of private lessons, masterclasses, guitar chamber ensembles, seminars, and concerts featuring renowned artists, including GuitarFest Artistic Director and NEC faculty member Eliot Fisk. From professional guitarists to aficionados, the Institute offers a great experience for everyone.

* Recommended Ages. Skill level may also be taken into consideration

Participants receive:

  • 2 private guitar lessons with distinguished guest artists*
  • Masterclasses with faculty: Eliot Fisk and Joaquin Clerch (by audition only)
  • Guitar Ensembles
  • Seminars and workshops
  • A chance to perform in Open-Mic Nights
  • Access to all GuitarFest concerts

* Lesson and masterclass placement based on preference, faculty availability, and audition videos.

Note: NEC’s new Residence Hall is available for all summer program participants ages 14 years and older.
